About the Job
Drive and operate Class B straight truck 26’
Deliver orders/materials/product to customers while following DOT and internal safety rules using the company truck.
Loading and unloading of company truck and securing loads.
Maneuver heavy materials with the use of a forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand truck.
Assist in warehouse as needed.
Comply with company and DOT policies.
Check gauges and visual indicators for malfunctions, ensure locks on trailers are working properly, and conduct inspection of vehicle before and during trips to determine problems that may be occurring.
Have a valid commercial motor vehicle operator’s license issued by one state or jurisdiction.
A Class A Commercial Driver’s License (operating a CMV with a gross combination weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds and towing a trailer of 10,001 pounds or more).
A Class B Commercial Driver’s License (operating a power unit with a GVWR of 26,001 or pounds without a trailer).
