Pennsylvania Steel, Hauppauge, NY is looking for a Class B licensed driver for our Long Island, NY location.

The Class A Truck Driver safely operates a commercial flatbed vehicle to transport and deliver material to our customers.

Job Description:

• SAFETY FIRST! Safely operating the truck.

• Loading and unloading material required.

• Securing loads and assuring loads are within weight limits.

• Verifying count and condition of materials when loading and unloading.

• Reporting vehicle maintenance needs.

• Complying with Department of Transportation regulations.

• Maintaining a clean driving record.

• Representing the company in a professional, courteous, and presentable manner at all times.

All candidates considered will have a background check, pre-employment drug screen, & a physical exam.

Required Experience:

Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

• Experience 1-6 months experience strongly preferred

• Valid Class B license, and clean driving record.

Salary: $27.00/hr. to start plus full benefits
