What You'll Do:
As a CDL Class A Driver, you will perform Shipping, Receiving and Driving activities ensuring safety, quality, accuracy and customer due date/output goals are met.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Loads/unloads trucks and stages material in the appropriate area safely to ensure complete, on-time, and accurate picking, preparation, and shipping.
- Operates and performs light maintenance on the trucks to ensure customer deliveries are on time to meet customer goals.
- Prepares material on skids and shrink wraps to maintain the quality of the product and ensure the full order travels together.
- Confirms the count and quality of material and products being received or shipped to ensure integrity, count accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction
- Stocks inventory and rotates stock, as needed, ensuring accurate inventory and warehouse location.
- Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse is clean and in safe order.
Position Requirements:
- Education: A high school diploma, or the equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience within a warehouse environment; prior forklift and box-truck driving experience needed
- Certifications: Valid Driver's License; able to obtain Fork Lift Certification; CDL Class A required.
- Functional Skills: Good attention to detail with an ability to read and understand documents, procedures and specifications, along with the ability to match part numbers accurately. Basic math and counting skills are required. This role also requires the ability to use hand tools for light truck maintenance and general warehouse equipment as well as good prioritization skills and an ability to multitask and problem-solve issues to meet output goals.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic computer skills helpful, but not required.
- Language Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Reliable, self-motivated that can take initiative; puts the time in to get the job done in an accurate, safe, and high-quality way; can work independently and be accountable for their own area.

Other Important Information:
Position Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Core Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Typical Work Week: M-F; some OT required, 40-50 hours per week.
Direct Reports: None
Work Conditions: Warehouse environment, semi-heated in the winter; ability to lift up to 50 - 75 lbs (with assistance as needed) and able to work around moving equipment.
Travel: Overnight travel 3 times per week in a company provided curtain side sleeper unit.
