About the Job
The Class A CDL Driver/Production Operator will be responsible for driving 4 out of 5 days of the week with the fifth day working as a production operator on the Sampler position.
Shift: Must be available for all shifts. Schedules will be posted the Thursday before the following week starts
Pay: $26.68/hr
Required Qualifications & Experiences:
- Class A CDL drivers license
- 18 years or older
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience
- Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
- Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
- Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team
- Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members
- Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the following competencies: acts with integrity in products, processes, and relationships; delivers results efficiently & effectively; embraces roll as individual contributor.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Weighers & Samplers license (can obtained during training).
Receiving Sampler Tester Position:
- Responsible for maintaining product quality, sanitation of equipment, and housekeeping as per good manufacturing practices
- Responsible to maintain all ISO log sheets
- Performs duties as may be assigned by supervisor
- Responsible for antibiotic screening of patron & outside milk
- Able to pass the state of California certification of test method
- Good organizational skills and basic computer skills
- As per contract, maximum training will be 15 days
Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
- Able to lift 60lbs
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are present
- Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
