Job Opportunity: Non-CDL and CDL Drivers

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Hourly Wage: $18–$20 per hour

Express Employment Professionals in Poughkeepsie, NY is urgently hiring Non-CDL and CDL Drivers to join a leading local company. As a driver, you will play a critical role in transporting goods and ensuring timely, safe deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods from distribution centers to various locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, including cased products.
• Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
• Safely operate vehicles and follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Check and report on the mechanical aspects of the vehicle.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Class A, B, or C.
• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience (e.g., box trucks, flatbeds, or larger).
• Familiarity with navigating the 5 NYC boroughs (required).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience completing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Excellent customer service skills.
