CCTV Technician from TemPositions Group Of Companies

We are currently seeking a CCTV technician to work with an established company in Plattsburg, New York. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service, technical expertise, and operational efficiency. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead technical projects while ensuring client satisfaction. 

Experience: 

• Two years of experience in the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems (video, access control, intrusion, fire/life safety). 
• Experience with leading security platforms (Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Brivo, Verkada, etc.) is highly desirable. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills. 
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights (using ladders, lifts). 

Technical Skills: 

• Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, networking, and IP-based devices. 
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. 
• Knowledge of cabling standards, including structured cabling and fiber optics. 

Preferred certifications: 

• CCTV: Avigilon, Genetec, or Milestone certifications. 
• Access Control: Lenel, Brivo, S2, or similar. 
• Intrusion Detection: DMP, Bosch, or Honeywell. 
• Fire Alarm: NICET certification or equivalent. 

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. 

• Occasional travel for project support or assisting at other locations. Expenses for approved travel are covered.
