We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CCTV/Access Control Technician that is looking to get out of the field and work in a office environment. This permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with cutting-edge technology, and is passionate about providing superior end-user support. The successful candidate will be responsible troubleshooting of CCTV and access control systems, ensuring the highest level of security for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, and maintain, CCTV and access control systems, .
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Provide end-user support, including responding to call-outs in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out, including any issues detected and actions taken.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and protocols, as well as any relevant regulations and legislation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CCTV/Access Control Technician or similar role.
Comprehensive knowledge of CCTV and access control systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical people.
Good understanding of networks and software used in CCTV and access control systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills.
Must be able to respond to call-outs promptly, which may occasionally be outside of normal working hours.
A relevant qualification in a technical field would be advantageous.
Must have at least 3+ years of experience in CCTV, Access Control, Troubleshoot, End-user Support.
