CCS Loans - Construction Loan Underwriter - Jordan Credit Union

CCS Loans, also known as Jordan Construction Lending, LLC, is a business unit owned by Jordan Credit Union for the purpose of building and maintaining a robust portfolio of construction loans. CCS Loans collaborates with Jordan Credit Union in marketing efforts and financing construction loans projects.

DUTIES

Assess the risk associated with lending money for residential construction projects. Analyze borrower qualifications, project feasibility, and financial documentation to ensure that loans are sound and meet all guidelines. Assist the Director of Operations & Underwriting in managing the loan underwriting pipeline.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Current State of Utah Mortgage Loan Originator license.

Experience in underwriting, particularly with construction or real estate loans.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to assess financial documents, project viability, and understanding of risk management principles.

Knowledge of construction processes and financing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to maintain composure and present a professional image in stressful situations, including dealing with difficult individuals.

Familiarity with lending software and financial analysis tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work independently, accurately, and within deadlines while demonstrating strong organizational skills in working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, judgment, and maturity, with the ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information.

Ability and desire to work with others as a team, respecting people of diverse backgrounds, to contribute to a collaborative and caring work environment.
