Events by RHC is looking to hire a Catering Prep Cook.The Catering Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods in accordance with event recipes & standards.
This role will pay a salary of $23 to $25.

Responsibilities:- Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment
- Have experience on multiple stations in the kitchen
- Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meets Events standards
- Must have excellent knife skills and proficiency in all aspects of cooking
- Assists the Culinary Management team with food preparation as assigned
- Maintains a working knowledge of food preparation for standard menu items
- Maintains a clean work environment, including floors and passages
- Cleans kitchen and equipment as assigned by the Culinary Management team
- Assists in keeping all food storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. clean and organized.
- Assisting the unloading of deliveries
- Professional work ethic
- 2-3 years of related cook experience
- Prepare and execute key components of dishes while ensuring quality and accuracy
- Effective communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when required
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and proactively solve issues
- Support their fellow cooks by being a team player
