Catering Executive Chef 2 - Sodexo

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a CateringExecutive Chef to join our team for a potential sale account in Parsippany, NJ!  The food operation consists catering operations.

The Catering Executive Chef will be responsible for food production for our catering operation. This location serves Breakfast and Lunch M-F. The CateringExecutive Chef will be instrumental in elevating the food offering, ensuring quality and presentation. The Ideal candidate will have high volume catering experience. Other Duties include but not limited to:

• catering
• menu planning
• ordering
• inventory
• food and labor cost
• creativity and innovation, but must deploy our corporate programs
• managing a team of up to 10 hourly employees
• leading, training and coaching staff
• hands on in the kitchen about 80% of the time

Ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, an eye for restaurant quality food, and a high level of organization. A strong focus in customer service, culinary expertise and attention to detail are key in our selection process.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
