Job Summary
The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for modeling and promoting Sendik’s culture by supporting those who consistently provide “best in class” service to our guests. The Catering Coordinator is responsible for the proposal, logistics and execution of all catering events, including, but not limited to meeting with clients, developing proposals, data entry and overall coordination of events.

Work Experience
Duties/Responsibilities
● Serve customers, associates, vendors and partners while modeling Sendik’s culture and providing “best
in class” customer service
● Assist with coordinating catering events such as, not limited to customer service, proposals, billing,
package design, production and customer satisfaction
● Lead and participate in catering events
● Transport items for events using a Sendik’s cargo van
● Assist with entering data and financials, such as, proposals, deposits and timesheets, while confirming
all reports are accurate prior to delivering to Finance Department
● Collaborate with Marketing for creation of promotional materials as it relates to Special Events catering
● Assist with Deli Production in the Commissary or in stores as needed
● Assist in the stores during peak holiday seasons as needed
Qualifications:
● 2-3 years of experience within the restaurant and/or catering industry
● Serving and/or Bartending experience preferred but not required
● Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event related travel
● Proficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel and Google Docs
● Strong level of customer service, hospitality communication and problem-solving skills
● Strong sense of security and ability to handle sensitive information
● Excellent attention to detail
● Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
● Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
● Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the team
● Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
