Casting Mold Technologist at 804 Technology

$18.00-32.00/hour

1st Shift

6-12 Month Contract

What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer:

· Develop and execute trial plans.

· Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.

· Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide “hands on” support to manufacturing and process engineers.

· Analyze test data of newly created products and raw materials.

· Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.

· Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.

· Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.

· Research new composites materials and novel processes.

· Create work instructions and SOPs for Quality System.

Skills/Knowledge:

· Must be a technologist/engineer who has mold design and making experience

· Must have process knowledge to cast parts with 2-part chemistries

· Working knowledge of composites, textiles, foam, coating, and other processing equipment.

· Working knowledge of materials testing equipment .

· Eagerness to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes , and other Additive Manufacturing processes.

· Working knowledge of advance fiber placement systems is desirable.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Effective team player, with strong critical thinking skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office : Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Ability to create and read 3D Modeling is highly desired.

What You Need to Be Successful

· 5+ years of prior relevant experience

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines
