Cashier - Magical Winter Lights

PG at Work is seeking Cashiers for its client Magical Winter Lights - a spectacular, larger-than-life 52-day festival that presents a fresh multicultural take on traditional holiday light shows.

About the role 

The Cashier assists customers at a number of areas including the Box Office and the MWL operated ride areas. Top performing cashiers will be eligible for the customer service supervisor role. This position has a rate of $12/hr.

An ideal candidate is:

• Proficient attention to detail and organization.
• Honest, punctual, and committed to all general responsibilities.
• Proficient at communicating with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Personable and friendly, while maintaining consistent professionalism in all interactions with customers. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Correctly operating sales equipment to sell tickets and other items to customers.
• Receiving complete payments by cash, or debit and cards.
• Answering customers' questions, providing information on procedures or policies. Directing guests with special cases and inquiries to the Guest Services building.
• Balancing assigned cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and complying with all company policies.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the festival at Katy Mills.
• Be able to sit and or stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
• Legal working status in the United States
• Must be available to work afternoon hours, weekends as well as holidays if scheduled (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day).

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in customer service/cashiering, bilingual in English and Spanish, proficiency in accurate money-handling and calculating.
