Carolina's Mexican Food, a family tradition since 1967 & home of the BEST tortillas in the Phoenix area, is currently searching for friendly, enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to fill CASHIER roles in our valley-wide locations. In this role, you are the first point of contact with our customers and will be expected to greet and assist our customers through the ordering process.
Full-time and part-time positions are available! All positions have the opportunity for advancement and certification increases (the more you learn at Carolina's, the more you earn!)

• We are CLOSED EVERY SUNDAY! (limited/rare occasional work necessary 1-2 of Sunday's a year for a few of hours.)

This position requires excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a sizzling personality, and a desire to deliver outstanding world-class service to our customers. The ideal candidate has customer service experience; however no experience is necessary. Also, additional responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, processing customer orders, cleaning public spaces, and packaging orders.
General Responsibilities:
· Welcome customers and help determine their orders.
· Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database.
· Relay customers' orders to the kitchen staff.
· Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
· Accept cash and return the correct change.
· Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift.
· Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes.
· Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
· Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces.
· Help kitchen staff when needed.
General Requirements:
· Proven experience in a customer service role is a plus.
· Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Good mental mathematical skills.
