Cashier office is looking to employ a student worker. The person should have the ability to effectively communicate both in person and by phone. Detailed oriented with data entry and strong math skills. Cash handling experience is required. Prefer student studying accounting or business.

15-20 hours per week. The cashier office is open Mon- Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes :
- Provide customer service both in-person and over the phone (CM)
- Collect tuition payments and assist with payment plans (TC)
- Be able to explain policies and procedures regarding tuition and payments (CFT, PF)
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of student payment information (PF)
- Refer students and visitors to the proper resources/offices (TW)
- Assist Accounts Receivable with data entry and special projects. Other duties assigned. (TC, CD)

Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Other abilities):
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the Spring semester.
- Must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher and be in good standing at Oakton College.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be making satisfactory progress as defined by Oakton's Standards of Academic Progress policy toward achieving their educational goals.
-Cash handling experience, at least 6 months
- Computer skills (date entry is required)
- Good communication skills
