Overview: For this position, Happy Daz Restaurants is seeking friendly and upbeat professionals that thrive in a fast-paced work environment and aim to deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Cashiers will greet guests as they enter the restaurant and build positive relationships with patrons
- Prioritize a quality customer experience with a friendly approach and efficient time management
- Develop a thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu
- Cashiers will accurately ring up customer orders and bag or tray all food and beverage items, per customer order
- Cashiers will process payments at the point-of-sale system by efficiently and responsibly handling cash and credit card transactions
- Regularly assist with stocking, organizing, and cleaning the dining room
- Cashiers will deliver food to dine-in guests, as well as clear away trays
- Sanitize tables, seats, and food trays
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures per company policy, in alignment with health department regulations
- Effectively communicate with kitchen and management to provide quality customer service
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Enthusiasm for customer service and a guest-first mentality
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic math skills
