Cashier - Full Time - Bowditch Automotive

Bowditch Ford, a family owned and operated Ford dealership, is seeking a full time, energetic Cashier to work in our Ford location.  The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, enjoy working in a successful team environment, desire to provide our customer's top notch customer service, ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of energy.  The hours will be:

Monday - Friday        7am - 6pm

Off Wednesdays 

Responsibilities:

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.  Balance transactions daily.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct customer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, Car Deal Files, Hard Copies)

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
• Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel
• Professional personal appearance
