Job Summary:

• Operates cash register in Cafeteria, Cafe Shalom, or Marketplace.
• Receives payments, gives change, and performs related clerical and sales duties depending on assignment.
• Reconciles cash receipts after each meal period, and completes cash handling records according to department procedure.
• Counts money received and deposits with Supervisor.
• Performs full range of sales duties to actively promote sales; offers assistance, answers questions regarding merchandise hours, etc; suggests items for purchase, explains merchandise and pricing; wraps or bags merchandise.
• Stocks, arranges, straightens, and cleans shelves and other shop areas.

Requirements:

• Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
