About the Job
The PW Lot Attendant's main purpose is to operate the PW Lot. This position is the face of the PW Lot operation. He/she will interact with every guest who enters and exits the lot.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Maintain organization and setup of the lot’s delineators, signage, podium, and umbrella
• Utilize the Flash Valet handheld
• Issue a ticket to every arriving guest
• Transact ticket for every departing guest
• Collect the correct fee and account for every transaction
• Closely monitor the occupancy of the lot and arrange signage and delineators accordingly
• Recognize Pike Employees in the lot or entering the lot, and then act in accordance with the Employee Parking Policy
• Recognize delivery vehicles attempting to enter the lot during our hours of operation, and then act in accordance with the Deliveries Policy
• Maintain consistent traffic flow through strategic and efficient actions
• Act professionally and in accordance with all AmeriPark and Pike Policies
• Prepare revenue deposit and corresponding paperwork
• Report anything of concern to the manager
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• As needed, maintain communication with Valet Staff and Office Staff
• Have a solid understanding of directions and the location of nearby landmarks
• Have a solid understanding of the restaurants and businesses nearby
Education
• High School Diploma or the equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to use an iPhone
• Ability to see small print
• Ability to write legibly
• Ability to calculate fees manually and quickly
• Ability to work quickly and consistently with few errors
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to perform job functions in poorly lit lot
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in a fast-pace work environment
• Experience with customer service
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Standing for long periods of time
• Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions
• May require availability for overtime during peak periods
• Has the ability to move the podium if necessary
• Has the ability to move the umbrella if necessary
