POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of Cash Control, you would be responsible for verifying deposits and monetary change needs on park. We are looking for candidates with extreme attention to detail, comfort with data entry including 10-key, and great customer service. Not only will you work in the office, but you will also have customer service duties that require you to walk around our themed amusement park. After all, why work at a bank when you can work at a theme park?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate and maintain coin and currency recyclers and coin wrapping machines.
- Comply with Cash Control and Wild Adventures cash handling policy.
- Strictly adhere to cash handling and security policies and procedures.
- Must be willing and able to handle sensitive information and accurately account for cash and credit transactions.
- Issue and receive tills, wristbands, and other items according to procedures.
- Monitor coin and currency recyclers, and perform cash pickups and cashier audits.
- Assist new cashiers with Cash Control procedures.
- Keep personal teller inventory in balance at all times.
- Reconcile personal teller inventory and verify bank deposits.
- Keep work areas clean and safe at all times.
- Maintain records and issue reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Participate in ongoing discussions to improve procedures and Guest service.
- Model the company's Core Values when working with Guests and other employees.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company results, employee information, and security procedures.
- Complete annual Payment Card Industry training, criminal background, and credit check due to possible keying of the credit card information.
- Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
- Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
- Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Satisfies Wild Adventure’s standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
- “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations
- Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The primary workspace will be an indoor, professional office setting; occasionally requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and in the presence of dust and odors. May be susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids, and blood-borne pathogens, prolonged exposure to sunlight, or rainy conditions.
EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in High School, High School Graduate, or GED preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Competency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE: 6 plus months of experience in cash handling experience preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation.
