This is a unique opportunity to work in the Legal industry, where you will play a critical role in managing cash applications and accounts receivable. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Cash Applications Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing daily operations related to cash applications and accounts receivable.
2. Processing and verifying transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
3. Identifying and resolving discrepancies in cash postings and accounts receivable.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve cash flow.
5. Preparing and presenting regular reports on cash applications and accounts receivable status.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
7. Participating in financial audits and providing necessary information and documentation.
8. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal industry standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Consulting Cash Applications Specialist role, you must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Legal industry.
2. Proven experience in Cash Applications, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Posting.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of financial software and databases.
5. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Knowledge of legal industry standards and compliance requirements would be a plus.
