Our esteemed law firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Case Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a background in personal injury and car accident cases who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of legal principles, case management tools, and document management, coupled with excellent administrative and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Case Manager, your duties will include:
1. Overseeing and managing a caseload of personal injury and car accident cases from inception through resolution.
2. Coordinating with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth case progression.
3. Utilizing case management tools, such as MyCase, to organize, track, and expedite case proceedings.
4. Developing and implementing case management plans to meet client needs and objectives.
5. Conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies and negotiations.
6. Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, correspondence, and reports with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Providing excellent customer service, maintaining regular communication with clients, and providing updates on case progress.
8. Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including coordination of witnesses, compilation of evidence, and management of logistics.
9. Ensuring compliance with legal procedures, regulations, and court orders.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Case Manager in the legal industry, preferably with a focus on personal injury and car accident cases.
2. Proven expertise in using case management tools, particularly MyCase.
3. Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and documentation related to personal injury and car accident cases.
4. Exceptional administrative skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex legal information to clients, attorneys, and other parties.
6. Proficiency in document management, with an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
9. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and client service.
