Case Manager - Acro Service Corp

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for understanding the Delaware mental health commitment laws and criteria for psychiatric inpatient hospitalization.
• Must be detail oriented: Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, possess the ability to quickly identify errors, omissions, or inconsistencies.
• Critical thinking: the ability to navigate through a difficult or unusual situation. Provides clear, concise, timely communication and follow[1]up with providers.
• Verify insurance and send referrals to appropriate facilities.
• Maintain organized documentation and track referrals.
• Provides notification to our collaborative partners to ensure continuity of care for our patients.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in mental health services, and referral coordination.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work autonomously and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Reader and other computer-based applications.

Training after Hired

1. Training is mandatory and must be completed in person.
2. Training is a minimum of 3 weeks in duration (Monday thru Thursday 9am-2pm)
3. If the candidate misses any days or does not successfully complete the training checklist, the training period will be extended accordingly.
