We currently have an opening for a Case Manager. This position will assist and support our attorneys, maintain and organize cases, investigation and research, and prepare case outlines and summaries based upon information provided.
The Basics
As a vital member of our team, you'll:
- Support attorneys in the pre-litigation stage, including client intake and case investigation.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather case facts and documents.
- Review and analyze records and secure necessary documents.
- Assist in developing settlements, drafting documents, and preparing correspondence.
- Manage case files, ensuring accurate and prompt updates in electronic systems.
- Coordinate and track project tasks, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and third parties as authorized.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by attorneys.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience with knowledge of Civil Procedure, case flow, and the discovery process.
- Self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PDF tools, with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
