Since opening our doors we have provided care and treatment for hundreds of thousands of individuals in crisis.
Responsibilities:
This Case Manager III position provides services to include facilitating admissions, discharge planning, and acquiring necessary collateral, individual therapy, group counseling, life skills sessions, clinical interventions, crisis management, family therapy, and support system development.
What You'll Do:
- Conducts a thorough, accurate, clinically sound Psychosocial Assessment with the individual in a timely manner. Maintain the clinic record, including documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process. Obtain signatures from the individual receiving services regarding treatment, as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) and Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) Involuntary Commitment process. Monitor the petition process to ensure timeliness are adhered to, and forms are complete and thorough. When subpoenaed, attend E&T hearings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team to engage, monitor and communicate with the individual ensuring that safety is maintained while meeting the individual’s needs.
- Provides internal education regarding DBT, trauma informed care, harm reduction, and service plan documentation.
- Prepares clinical reports and individualized service plans utilizing agency electronic clinical documentation software. Ensures documentation complies with best clinical practices, contracts, regulatory and other legal requirements.
- Conducts brief intervention, individual, family and group counselling within scope of practice. Participates in redirecting individual behavior while maintaining a safe milieu when necessary. Documents all services and individual activities appropriately.
- Arranges for referral and placement of individuals in other community substance abuse programs, housing, or employment opportunities.
- Provides case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration. Conducts crisis interventions and follow-up as necessary.
- Follows up with appropriate leadership regarding all cases on a weekly basis.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- REQUIRED LICENSE: Current & unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Professional in State of Washington (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, LCSW, LPC, etc. )
- 3 years of experience in mental health, substance abuse treatment or relevant work
- Knowledge of principles of recovery, family of origin/intergenerational issues, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
- Knowledge and experience working with special populations (Those individuals identified as having serious mental illness, substance abuse diagnoses, brain injuries and those over 60 years of age)
- Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
It would be great if you had:
- Knowledge of the Washington State behavioral health system of care and resources within it
Experience working with families and adults with behavioral health issues

The typical hiring range for this role in Washington is $40.50 - $47.50 per hour.
Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience, education, competency, skillset, and geographic location.
