About the Job
Case Manager / Court Liaison
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.
We'd love you to join our team as a Case Manager / Court Liaison at Knoxville Center for Behavioral Health. We would love for you the team for our new hospital and carry out our vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time. We provide psychiatric care to adults and geriatric patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders like cognitive illnesses.

What you will be doing:
Monitor and manage patients coming in on a Certificate of Need.
Coordinate care by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on completion of all CON paperwork.
Act as a liaison between Admissions, Psychiatrists, and Nurse Practitioners as it pertains to the CON process completion.
Ensure all CON paperwork is completed appropriately and submitted to the correct court affiliates.
Coordinate assessments to be completed by appropriate Psychiatrist/MD.
Coordinate and attend the court hearings set by Knox County.
Perform Psychoeducational groups on in Patient Units as needed.

What you will be doing:

What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Social Science or a related field or relevant previous job experience required.
- Ability to create and maintain professional liaison with community agencies and organizations to ensure continuity of care.
- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse fields is preferred.
