Carpenter - Brayman Precast

Brayman Precast in Saxonburg, PA, is inviting applications from rough carpenters with a strong work ethic who enjoy hands-on work and are interested in a full time Concrete Forming Carpenter. We are looking for multiple carpenters to work in our precast concrete manufacturing facility.

SCHEDULE, PAY AND BENEFITS OF THE CONCRETE FORMING CARPENTER / BUILDER

Typical Schedule: 8 hour shift, days (6:00 am – 2:30 pm), Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required at times in order to meet project needs.

ABOUT THE CONCRETE FORMING CARPENTER / BUILDER JOB

As a Concrete Forming Carpenter, you will be building forms for precast concrete structures according to blueprints, specifications and project plans to help us meet our clients' needs. These structures include stairs and landing systems, bridges (deck panels, abutments, etc.), retaining wall panels and other custom structural pieces.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to work with our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will need to have at least one year of professional carpentry experience. Experience building concrete forms for precast concrete and/or experience in the heavy civil construction industry is a plus.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of formal apprenticeship or directly related experience.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
