SUMMARY:

The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining and repairing of existing appearance of property and fixtures, assist with in house remodels and work with outside contractors on larger projects

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required

- Three years in finish, rough or related carpentry trades

- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

- Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures

- Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Report to work timely, in proper uniform and appearance and maintain standard throughout the assigned shift

- Must be capable of maintaining cosmetic esthetics of casino and upkeep of common areas

- Have basic knowledge of the following skills: - Understand blueprints and be able to understand verbal and written instructions

- Assist senior craft technicians with repairs on gaming tables

- Work with various woods, sheet rock, carpet, paints and laminate

- Assist senior craft technicians with specialty gaming set up - Work around electrical, water and gas feed lines

- Maintain an orderly schedule of preventive maintenance in casino, restaurant, banquets and kitchen areas

- Respond promptly to needs of company

- Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure of shift supervisor

- Attending and successfully completing all internal training courses and requirements

- Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service

- Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct
