Essential Job Functions:
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to precise specifications.
- Install structures, fixtures, and fittings, such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and furniture.
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out structures.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience.
- Proficient knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle demanding tasks and lift heavy materials.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
