Cadence General, LLC is looking for a motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who has at least 1 year of experience in carpentry and is eager to grow their skills in both residential and commercial construction. You will assist skilled carpenters and contribute to various stages of construction projects while learning new techniques in a supportive and collaborative environment.

- Assist in carpentry tasks such as framing, installing trim, and basic finish work under the guidance of skilled carpenters.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials like wood and plastic for various construction tasks.
- Support the installation of structures, including doors, windows, flooring, and other fixtures, ensuring quality and precision.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of structures, fixing damaged components as needed.
- Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris, handling materials, and maintaining tools.
- Work closely with project supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project flow and on-time completion.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist in problem-solving on-site challenges by offering solutions and supporting efficient project execution.
- At least 1 year of experience in carpentry or construction.
- Familiarity with basic carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work on your feet for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Team player with good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
