We are currently seeking experienced Carpenter Foremen for all shifts (day, night, and swing) support Field Supervision and project located at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, NE. The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include leading a team of carpenters to complete daily tasks at the jobsite.The individual will be responsible for coordinating projects, including monitor production schedule and attendance of crew.We consider this a working foreman position and individual will also assist team in completion of tasks/projects when needed. This position will provide support to our field supervision and must demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate for this position will possess 5 years of construction experience, leadership skills and must be able to read basic drawings and have training on construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor)). Forklift operator training work would be a plus. A high school diploma or GED are a plus as well as strong time management skills.

Qualified Candidates for the positions listed above must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, have the ability to see & hear well either naturally or with correction. Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs, 75% of the time.

Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.Punctuality and promptness are required every day. Individuals must be able to pass a TSA background check requirement.
