A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CARPENTER
As a Carpenter, you build and finish structures for our customers. For each project, you select lumber by size and strength to suit the customer's budget and style. Then, following precise specifications, you build and install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and studs. You constantly prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency, maintaining a clean and orderly job site and working collaboratively with the other members of your team.
In addition to structural building, you design and install interior elements, including cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation. You also add fixtures such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures. Your satisfaction comes from honing your carpentry skills while working on interesting construction projects alongside a great team!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CARPENTER
- Commitment to learning the carpentry trade
- Ability to routinely lift 50+ lbs

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CARPENTER
This full-time position typically works Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM, with some weekends as necessary.
