Carousel Attendant - Rink Management Services

Carousel Attendant - Part-time 

Under the general supervision of the General Manager and shift supervisor, performs a variety of customer service related duties and assists with the general operation and supervision of the Carousel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Insures the safety of the patrons on and around the carousel.
• Operates, maintains and cleans the carousel and surrounding area.
• Interacts with customers, carousel, rink, and mall staff.
• Communicates professionally both in writing and verbally to customers and staff.
• Provide accurate answers to customer questions.
• Receives payments, fees and makes change.
• Accurately records drops and issues receipts.
• Accurately maintains cash change bag.
• Accurately enters  and records information .
• Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.  Work responsibilities will be performed in a recreational environment, all functions named in this section could also be performed on a Carousel in accordance with employment in a recreational facility in a mall environment..

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED: 

Standard office equipment that include; computers and software packages, and copy machines, telephones, cash registers,  Maintenance and cleaning equipment that include; vacuums, mops, brooms, sprayers, disinfectants, hoses and any other equipment associated with use on a carousel in a recreational facility/mall environment.
