DJJ has an immediate opening for a supervisor within our cargo and container department. This position is responsible for team that handles imported scrap vessels and sales of exported scrap via container. The team handles logistics, contract terms, letters of credit, payments, and communication with divisions and internal commercial teams. A new system is being implemented and supervisor will be responsible for leading this project to completion as well. A focus on process improvement and efficiencies will be needed. The role will be in constant communication with DJJ trading teams on positions and status of shipments.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills in word/excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
