Caregiver Wanted: Assist with ADLs and Appointments 10AM to 3PM - 1 + 1 Cares

Are you a compassionate caregiver looking for an opportunity to provide essential support and assistance? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and provide care for our client.

Responsibilities:

• On a nice day, accompany our client for outdoor walks or use a wheelchair for mobility.
• Drive the client to doctor appointments.
• Engage in light housekeeping duties, including tidying up areas.
• Assist with getting up out of bed and walking around the house.
• Prepare meals for breakfast and lunch, ensuring food is cut into smaller pieces.
• Ensure the client drinks 3 bottles of water a day; encourage hydration during your shift.
• Wake the client up to drink and eat when necessary.
• Assist with exercises using provided exercises binder.
• Utilize grab bars around the house to assist with ambulation.
• Provide assistance with morning tasks such as drawing drapes/curtains, opening windows, tidying up rooms and bathrooms, and cleaning areas utilized by the client.
• Complete intake for daily activities to ensure all necessary tasks are completed.

Client's Condition:

Client suffers from arthritis in her right arm and leg, with severity varying depending on the weather.
