We are seeking to hire Proactive, Empathetic, and Passionate caregivers to work up to 20 hours a week, night and day shifts, depending on your availability.

Your Responsibilities would include:

As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care activities to assist our clients with activities of daily living. These could include:

• Offering companionship care
• Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands etc.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Simple meal preparations
• Light housekeeping
• Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:
• Personal Hygiene
• Dressing
• Eating
• Maintaining Continence
• Help with Transferring/Mobility

And if you cover night or overnight shifts:   

• Stay awake and alert to assist the client to go to the bathroom.
• Check on the client on a regular basis.
• Reposition to avoid bed sores.
• If the client is an early riser, assist with getting dressed and breakfast. 
• Occasionally help with incontinence issues.

 Qualifications:

• The most important requirement is to have a passion for working with and helping our senior community.
• Pass a background screening.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English, as it is needed for the job.
• Current TB clearance
