Senior Helpers is seeking caregivers to join our team. We are currently looking caregivers that are interested in filling shifts in North Spokane. Caregivers already credentialed with an HCA, CNA, or NAR (1163 exempt) are strongly preferred but not a requirement as we do offer a free HCA certification program. This job is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is a student, retired, looking for supplemental hours, or trying to fill some spare time.
Caregivers typically provide companionship and conversation, meal preparation and planning, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation to errands and appointments, and personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, and grooming). You must have reliable transportation, with your own car, driver's license, and insurance.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Active HCA, CNA, or NAR (1163 exempt) certification (preferred but not required)
- Kind, compassionate, and caring demeanor
- Reliability, responsibility, and punctuality
- Great communication with staff and clients
- Pass a background and fingerprint check
- Your own vehicle, current license and insurance
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff
- Assist with personal care
- Companionship
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
