Caregiver- Memory Care Part Time 2PM-10:30PM - Mennonite Village

We are looking for compassionate and patient Caregivers/Resident Assistants that are eager to make a difference in the lives of seniors. Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community. For 75 years our mission has been to be a Christ-centered community providing life-enriching services. As such, we commit to uphold stewardship, service, and self-determination. Pay $16.00 - $20.01 depending on experience - shift differential of an additional $1 for hours worked between 10PM & 6AM and an additional $1 for weekends. Sign on bonuses up to $500. Shift- Part Time 2PM-10:30PM.

As a Caregiver at our Lydia's House Memory Care Unit, you will encourage residents to participate in daily activities, help serve meals, assist with dressing, hygiene and toileting when needed, reassure and redirect while providing comfort to those with memory loss.

Physical requirements include:

• Regularly lifting 10-50 lbs. during various care and housekeeping duties. Occasionally lift residents weighing over 100 lbs.
• Ability to safely move frequently during workday, including carrying, lifting, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and kneeling.
• Ability to push and/or pull wheelchairs and other equipment.
