1st Shift Opportunities: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift Opportunities: 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM; 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
3rd Shift Opportunities: 10 PM - 6 AM
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the residents are safe and comfortable at all times.
Provide assistance with all activities of daily living such as but not limited to bathing, dressing, and other personal care.
Provide care with respect for resident's personal rights with an emphasis on dignity and individuality.
Able to adhere to a schedule for resident services, meal times, daily activity programs and business related needs.
Able to prioritize, organize and use work time appropriately.
Demonstrate a mature, pleasant behavior and demeanor that supports the facility philosophy regarding optimal resident care and customer service.
Provide assistance with general housekeeping, laundry and meals.
Qualifications:
Shall be at least 18 years of age.
Shall be eligible to work in the U.S.
Shall be in good physical health as determined by a health screening, including a chest x-ray or an intradermal test for TB clearance, performed by a licensed physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days after employment. Must be able to lift/carry/push up to 50 lbs.
Shall have experience providing care and supervision to elderly or disabled individuals in a residential environment preferred.
Knowledge of basic food service and safe handling of food.
Have verifiable employment references as to character and responsibility.
Shall be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check to include but not limited to previous employment, criminal, verification of certifications).
