Homes for Independent Living has been a premier provider supporting adults with a wide array of abilities who reside in the community since 1984. We are developing a new team of highly engaged, highly specialized owners who will provide specialized behavioral support services to a young man we will soon welcome to our HIL family! He will reside in his own home modified to meet his unique needs located in Little Suamico. He will rely on a team of caring, positive direct support professionals led by a dynamic direct support supervisor who will implement positive behavioral interventions and the individual service plan developed to help him achieve his hopes and dreams so he can live the life he wants!

Direct Support Professional Starting Wage: $18/hour

Direct Support Supervisor Starting Wage: $20/hour

Additionally both qualify for:

$1.00/hour 2nd Shift Differential: M-F 2p-10p
$2.00/hour Weekend Shift Differential: Friday 10p-Sunday 10p
Experience Matters: bring your experience with you and qualify for higher starting wages!

Professional Position Overview:

Provides direct care support services. Implements Individual Service Plans and Behavioral Support Plans.
The position focus is to provide support services to clients that require frequent behavioral supports and positive behavioral interventions.
Our DSPs are supported by a dedicated behavioral support department!

Supervisor Position Overview:

Provides oversight of assigned program(s)-Develops and supervises/supports staff team, completes administrative tasks and provides hands on direct support services.
The DSS is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and is focused on enhancing the overall health, safety, and welfare of our clients and our direct support professional owners.
