Caregiver - Dameron Hospital

We are a contract-based company that provides caregiving services to individuals in need. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our clients by providing compassionate and professional care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced caregiver to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Overview:

As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our clients. This includes assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients

- Assist with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

- Administer medication as directed by the client's healthcare team

- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client

- Provide emotional support and companionship to the client

- Accompany client to appointments and outings as needed

- Document care provided and any observations in a timely and accurate manner

- Communicate effectively with the client, their family, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 year experience in caregiving or a related field

- CPR and First Aid certification

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Physical ability to lift and transfer clients if needed

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. The schedule may include weekends and holidays, depending on the needs of our clients. Flexibility in working hours is required.
