About the Job
Full-Time Medical Adult Day Care (MADC) Caregiver
DUTIES:
The following is a list of services that MADC Caregiver may routinely perform; however, it is not exclusive of other reasonable requests:
Assists participants with the following:
- Personal care, including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Use of special aids.
- Accident preventions.
- Activities of daily living.
- Monitors and supervises participants.
- Assists participants at mealtime, including feeding participants as needed.
- Assists and encourage activity involvement and provide individualized activities as needed.
- Works in Homecare Caregiving as assigned.
- Other job duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10th grade education; High school graduate or High School graduate or GED, preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year full-time or part-time paid or volunteer experience working with adults in a health care or social service setting, required.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must have dependable transportation.
