Caregiver, afternoon/evening/night shift - Right at Home Santa Barbara CA

If you´re looking for extra money and you can only cover afternoon/evening shifts, this is the perfect job for you!

We have the 3:00pm to 11:00pm and 11:00pm to 7:00am shift available. 

What you´ll get with us:

Salary: $17-$20 (depends on your experience & availability)

Shift Type: 

• You can work up to 40 hours per week.
• Afternoon and evening

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care
• Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands etc.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Simple meal preparations
• Light housekeeping
• Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Dressing
  • Eating
  • Maintaining Continence
  • Help with Transferring/Mobility

And at night:  

• Stay awake and alert to assist the client to go to the bathroom.
• Check on the client on a regular basis.
• Reposition to avoid bed sores.
• If the client is an early riser, assist with getting dressed and breakfast. 
• Occasionally help with incontinence issues.

All our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not have you care for a client that requires help beyond your comfort level and knowledge.

• Pass a background test
• Read, write, speak, and understand English, as it is needed for the job
• Current TB clearance
