- Informs students about externship opportunities and requirements
- Designs and delivers relevant soft skills trainings to increase student likelihood of workplace success
- Works with students to identify and apply for employment opportunities
- Assists students with completing externship application and requirement to enter externships
- Support career readiness by providing coaching that includes mock interviews, resume review, employer panels, and referrals to Job Developers, Career Coaches, and partner organizations.
- Maintains accurate records of job placements and retention on a regular basis
- Performs other additional duties as needed.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in education, social work, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years experience working with individuals related to career counseling and job placement preferred
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Philadelphia's workforce needs, certification courses, and requirements for credentialing opportunities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent computer and organizational skills and willingness to be apart of a team
- Flexible workweek hours and required, some early evening and weekend work required.

The base pay for this position ranges from $49,000 to $57,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
