About the Job
For 70 years, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. We are currently seeking a full-time Case Manager - Care Team Leader. This person will walk closely alongside clients to help them become self-aware of issues while creating a loving, grace-filled environment for them.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Making decisions about the day-to-day care of clients.
- Providing case management and advocacy for clients, working as a liaison between the client and other organizations involved in client care.
- Tracking clients' care plan progress through one-on-one discussions and using our online client management system, MissionTracker.
- Facilitating groups and/or classes.
- Networking with related service providers to access needed services for clients and ensuring delivery.
- Providing input and support into Care Team decisions.
- Making decisions about any proposed activity that does not follow Light of Life principles, is unhealthy or harmful to recovery.

Participate in the ministry of Light of Life Rescue Mission and walk alongside clients sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them through actions and words.
Resolve all issues in ways that promote the principles of Light of Life while following the processes described in the Light of Life staff handbook.
Practice Christlike stewardship of all resources.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative, able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to show genuine Christian love to clients
- Ability to build relationships and show interest in others.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field
- Knowledge from formal and experiential training in drug and alcohol recovery and mental illness
- 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HMIS experience and knowledge preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
