Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant - Pain Management - Barrow Brain and Spine

As one of the largest private group practices in the US, BBS is looking for a Full-Time Care Coordinator to join our Gilbert team! In general, the Care Coordinator will:

• Prepares and runs daily clinic with limited oversight from Lead Care Coordinator or Practice Manager.
• Facilitate patient clinic by greeting and rooming patients.
• Takes vitals and records assessment in the patient chart for physician review.
• Enters orders and E-Prescribe information and creates clinical visit summaries.
• Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
• Communicate with other physician’s staff regarding patient needs.
• Perform clinic room inventories and restock as necessary.
• Assist Lead Care Coordinators with orders as needed.
• Completes patient check-in process.
• Assists recall list for physicians, creates diagnostic reviews, completes orders as testing is received and follows-up on non-compliant orders.
• Any other duties assigned by Lead Care Coordinator and/or Practice Manager.
• Ensure an extraordinary patient experience!

Requirements:

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in a medical setting required.
• Experience with Centricity a plus.
