St. Joseph Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Transport Care Assistant- Health Unit Coordinator. This is a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of patients within our Imaging Department, contributing directly to the quality of care we provide. **What You'll Do:** + Transport patients safely and efficiently from our patient floors to imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound. + Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues. + Collaborate effectively with imaging staff to ensure seamless patient flow and timely completion of procedures. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. + Contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere by demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. **Qualifications** **Education/Work Experience Requirements** + Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program (or military medical specialty training). Six months related work experience preferred. Experience in a hospital setting preferred. + Prefer experience in a specialty unit. Preference is given toward applicants with experience as both a Certified Nursing Assistant and Unit Coordinator. **Licensure/Certification** **Must be registered by the Washington State Nursing Commission as a Certified Nursing Assistant.** **Note:** Employee's hired prior to June, 2014 with Washington State Nurse Assistant Registered shall be grandfathered. **Current healthcare provider BLS certification is required.** **Pay Range** $19.13 - $27.36 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
