Position Summary
The Cardiovascular Technologist assists physicians with invasive diagnostic procedures and treatments focused on cardiovascular health. Working within a collaborative, patient-centered team, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring top-quality care. Key Responsibilities
- Support physicians in executing complex cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment procedures.
- Operate specialized cardiovascular equipment in high-stakes medical environments.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are ready and functioning before procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support during invasive tests and treatments, adhering to a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
- Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with healthcare protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, implement, and adjust procedures based on evolving patient needs and diagnostics.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited cardiovascular program or equivalent educational background.
- Certifications (upon hire):
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or
- National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.
