Job Description
Responsible for all ultrasounds and EKG's in assigned nursing homes.
Upload all images and other necessary information to the Medical Record system
Responsible for making sure tests are read and sent to facilities in a timely fashion
Observe screen during scans to ensure that the image produced is satisfactory for diagnostic purposes, making adjustments to equipment as required.
Observe and care for patients throughout examinations to ensure their safety and comfort.
Provide sonogram and oral or written summary of findings to physicians for use in medical diagnosis.
Select appropriate equipment settings and adjust patient positions to obtain the best sites and angles.
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of the motion, shape, and composition of blood, organs, tissues, or bodily masses, such as fluid accumulations.
Requirements
Sonography certification required; (ARDMS)- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in ultrasound, ECHO, Carotid Doppler, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Ultrasound, Venous Doppler, Arterial Doppler, Bladder Ultrasound, EKG
Experience utilizing LG and Butterfly IQ ultrasound systems
Benefits
Compensation: $35.00 per ultrasound, $8.00 per EKG
Average Patients per day: $20 per day
Two (2) weeks paid time off (PTO)
Health Insurance. The company provides standard coverage for each employee, dependents are an option and would be employee paid.
Paid Holidays for the six (6) primary legal Holidays
Federal Mileage reimbursement -65.5 cents per mile (only take effect after 30 miles daily.)
