Bronson Methodist Hospital (BMH)
Full-time, Part-time, and PRN candidates must be ready to commit to full-time hours (3 12hr shifts, 7a-7:30p) during the first 6-8 weeks for orientation.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required – start your healthcare career here!
- CNA license preferred, but we’ll help you get there!
- Get BLS certified by the end of orientation – we’ll support you all the way!
- Must pass a basic EKG course with a score of 80% or higher to qualify for Monitor Tech duties.
- Dive into a 6-8 week full-time orientation – we’ll prepare you for success!
- Basic medical terminology preferred – if you’ve got it, great! If not, we’ll teach you!
- Sharpen your communication, grammar, and basic math skills to shine in this role!
- Complete our rhythm recognition class within 1 year – grow your expertise!
- Must have CNA, Patient Care Tech experience, or one med/surg nurse rotation – show us your passion for patient care!
- Finish 48 hours of hands-on training at our monitor station to be an EKG expert!
- Advance your skills with optional classes in arrhythmia, pacers, and more!
- Complete organization and unit-specific competencies during orientation – we’re committed to your growth!
- Comfortably accept delegation and learn to prioritize tasks like a pro!
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds? You’re already halfway there!
